About the CRC
Rowing in Cairns occurs on the pristine water way of the Trinity Inlet, surrounded by mangrove forests and spectacular mountain ranges. Come join us for your rowing experience in this unique environment. We welcome new and experienced rowers, and visitors to Cairns if you are looking for a row while you are here.
Please note that all rowing operations at the Cairns Rowing Club have been suspended due to ongoing construction works at our launch ramp. It is anticipated that construction works will be complete by the end of February, 2018 at which time our rowing activities will recommence. We apologise for the inconvenience.
If you are wanting to get into rowing, our Learn to Row program is the way to get started. Current LTR programs have been suspended with the temporary closure, however new LTR program details will be posted once our rowing activities recommence..

Cairns Rowing Club 'Come and Try' Day
We hold a Come and Try Day as an introduction to our Learn to Row Program.We invite you to come along to give the sport a go. There is no obligation to continue on after that, although we think you may want to. See our Learn to Row details for more information. -
Learn To Row
The Cairns Rowing Club delivers Learn to Row (LTR) programs to provide new-comers an opportunity to get involved in the sport in a safe and structured training environment. All aspects of the sport are covered in this program and will provide participants with skills to become competent in the sport. See our Calendar of Events for details on our next program. -
HOTTI
The Head of the Trinity Inlet (the HOTTI) is an annual endurance event run by the Cairns Rowing Club as part of the North Queensland regatta circuit. The event is run over a 13.5km course and attracts entries including rowers, outriggers, kayakers, dragon boaters and canoeist. See our HOTTI site for details. Read More
